Chasing the Northern Lights
Chasing the Northern lights and your chance to see it with your naked eye is very rare and there could be a lot of factors which need to add up prior to seeing it, even visitng with a tour guide doesn’t guarantee the view unfortunately. The weather contributes as a huge factor in this, there should be a clear sky in order for the northern lights to be visible. However with technology on the rise, there are many apps which can help you enhance the photos of dim lights which are visible, helping you get those Instagram worthy photos.
I would highly advice visiting in January, where the possibility of spotting the lights are very high. Further from the ice mountains to the frozen lakes, there is something for everyone to see.
The languages spoken in Norway are Norwegian and Sami.
Prices are quite high, especially during peak season (December and January) and the stay can also be pricey so be prepared to bring at least £1000 to spend and £1000-1500 for stays.
BUILD A LIFESTYLE AROUND YOUR BRAND, AND THE AUDIENCE WILL FOLLOW.
Although the prices are high, the experiences make up for it. Husky sleigh trips are a highlight where guides will take you around Tromso where you can ride the sleigh and feed the dogs and interact with them whilst enjoying the view with the lush mountains and beautiful fluffly snow.
I also loved the tour in the local eskimo village where guides will show you the ropes on how eskimos live and survive, you can learn a lot of history and stories and really grasp the differences between the world we live in. You also get the chance to immerse yourself in local cuisines, interact with the locals of the village and get to know them and learnt a lot!

Tromso also has snowboarding and other ski and snow sports, you can book instructors locally or beforehand from various platforms. It is also conveniently very close to Findland which is like a winter wonderland during December and January.
